In the last post we read how Sean turned his food truck into a self-serve buffet line for their famous chili solving 1 major problem — the massive amount of stress in serving hundreds of people in 60 minutes by himself!
A tech worker saw Sean was under stress trying to serve so many people and he suggested creating an impromptu buffet line which seemed to work, initially.
Sean laid out the large Chili pot with plenty of bowls and utensils and napkins on the counter and the workers helped themselves, placing their cash payments in a large cigar box and the line was moving along pretty quick and the workers were getting discounted chili at the same time.
The only thing Sean did not notice is that the floor of the food truck had become slick with grease from chili spilling onto the floor.
One of the patrons, Macamillion Dollars, or Mac for short called out to Sean to bring over more Chili. Sean grabbed two industrial strength pot holders picking up the heavy Chili pot and made his way over to the counter top and that is when the accident happened!
Sean’s feet slip, and he topples backward and this causes the scolding pot of Chili and a good portion of its contents to splash over the 2 closets patrons, Mac Dollers (who got the worst of it) and Jennifer Pennywise, another tech worker standing in line.
The reaction is immediate! Letting out a blood curdling scream Mac himself is flung backwards as if he were struck by a canon shell lifting him off his feet and knocking over other patrons who likewise yelled out in surprise.
Jennifer likewise, instantly feels the super-heated chili burn her skin and she releases an ear-splitting shriek of agony flailing her arms backwards striking several nearby workers causing them to cry out in surprise.
Pandemonium briefly breaks out within the lunchtime crowd with workers fleeing to and fro.
